I just want to make sure this would be correct. If the physician removed polyp in the ascending colon by cold snare, also in the previous polypectomy site in the ascending colon showed residual polyp.This was removed by piecemeal resection followed by extensive APC application, also in the rectum a polyp was removed by cold biopsy polypectomy. I Would code this as 45388, 45385-XU and 45380-XU . Is this correct?
 
Apc application

I have notes in my old book for APC application, use 45383. However it is not longer used. 45388 took its place

So the actual final coding of the procedures should be:

45380,51
45385,22 (may need to submit procedural notes for increased services)
45388,51


That would be how I would code the procedures performed.
