I have a patient that had procedure code 93303 under MAC. Anesthesia was used due to Down Syndrome and Autistic Disorder. I'm not sure what ASA code to use and if it needs a special modifier. Modifier 23 says unusual anesthesia under General.

I would use 01922-QS with the second & third dx being Down Syndrome and Autistic Disorder, plus a dx on your MAC's LCD for MAC anesthesia if one is documented.
