hello. I work for an anesthesia group and we have been told we can bill a 99231 or 01996 for follow up on a patient after delivery. (different date of service.) Usually they are seeing the patient a day or two after delivery to make sure all is good, ie feeling back, bp ok, headaches etc. Does anyone have any experience with this and is it legit to bill?
