Good morning ,

What is the E code for therpeutic use drug Sandostatin. Is it E932.4 ??

Patient had Sandostatin injection for carcinoid tumor. He had allergic reaction from that.
 
Sandostatin is a growth hormone inhibitor, therefore I don't believe E932.4 would be appropriate. Unfortunately, I don't know what to use and I'm interested in the feed back you get.
 
If you can't find an E-Code for the specific drug or its classifications, such as antibiotics have, you can always use E947.8, which is the E-Code for a specified drug NEC, therapeutic use.
