Good morning, Hope someone can help me. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, my NP clinicians have been seeing patients in SNF's. They are going beyond the times for the G0406-G0408 codes. Is there another code that we can use to get them the time they are seeing the patients. I know on the onsite time I can always bill the 9930X with a prolonged visit of 99356. I do not see anything that can go with the telehealth codes. Thanks in advance.
 
What service is you NP providing at the SNF? G0406-G0408 is for follow-up consultations - these codes would only be for consultations that have been ordered by the patient's attending physician for a particular problem that requires the expertise of a specialist. If your NPs are just providing subsequent SNF visits for ongoing medical management and not consultations as part of a specialty service, then the 99307-99310 are the appropriate codes, and these can be billed under telehealth.
