Our Audiologists/SLP's see babies with failed newborn hearing screening and obtain a normal result on follow up testing, they do not have any other risk factors or conditions for us to code except Z01.110 but we are getting denials with PI-11 code. I found the LCD for this from CMS and payer policies that is causing these denials.

I did some research and per ASHA suggestions H91.90 - Unspecified hearing loss, unspecified ear can be used to code normal results but not sure if this could be used in our case?
