I am getting a denial for 90756 when billed with 90471 admin code. "Procedure code was invalid on the date of service". I called Carefirst Medicare Advatange which is patient insurance. They are saying the codes can't be billed together. I find nothing in coding books or google saying they cannot be billed together. Is the insurance incorrect? Or should I try another code to bill with injection?
