Wiki 64493 Crosswalk

We've always used 01992 as the crosswalk for 64493, but since the new codes came out my boss is using 01940 as a crosswalk for it. 01940 is destruction procedures by neurolytic agent, so why would she want us to use that on a facet block?

Hi there, seems like you need to ask why she wants that code rather than 01938 ( image-guided injection, drainage or aspiration).

Is your provider performing both procedures? What modifier is she adding to the secondary procedure to clear the CCI edit?
