Can this code be used if there is no stent in place or mention of a stent? From what I'm reading from other questions asked about this code, on several other sites, only the Fluoro is a must to be mentioned. Is this true? So, a nephrostomy tube removal under fluoro w/no mention of stent can be coded as 50389?

as the code says, removal of nephrostomy tube and removal of indwelling ureteral stentis included in it if in anycase the stent is removed. hope it helps..:)
