Are any of you billing these new HCPCs codes?
G9711 – Patients with a diagnosis or past history of total colectomy or colorectal cancer
G9862 – For documentation of a patient not recommended to have a follow-up colonoscopy in 10 years
S0285 – Colonoscopy consultation performed prior to a screening colonoscopy procedure
I am not finding a great deal of info about their use. I'm hoping someone here can help!
Are these codes added to the physician's note when they are completing the note and coding?
How are they documented on the H&P?
So does the S0285 go on all screening H&Ps?
