Wondering what would be the best way to code a procedure that includes Lapidus (28297), Austin (28296) and Akin (28298) bunionectomies.
Option 1 28299 for the Austin/Akin AND 28297 for the Lapidus (too much to hope for?)
Option 2 28299 (for double osteotomy) + 28310-59 for the phalanx osteotomy (again, probably too much to hope for)
Option 3 28297 + 28310-59 which I have been able to get paid in the past, but leaves out any reimbursement for the Austin.
