I would need to know why the colonoscopy was performed, how the case was coded and which insurance was billed in order to provide a response.

We have the same issue with BCBS denied 0811 - saying "The provider is billing a not otherwise specified procedure code. The team stops all claims billed with unlisted, not otherwise specified or miscellaneous codes." Not sure if this is processing issue on their end.
We have been using this code for diagnostic colonoscopy and it happens on a sudden. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you !
