Wiki Official Sources For Intracranial Vascular Territories? (CPTs 61645, 61650, 61651)

Hello,

Does anyone know of the actual official CPT or CMS source where the intracranial vascular territories for CPTs 61645, 61650, & 61651 are documented?

To my great surprise, it is NOT in the CPT chapter preceding those codes, despite 'intracranial vascular territories' being mentioned specifically is the limiting factor for billing units.

I've found radiology magazines listing that, but never an actual CMS or CPT guidelines.
These resources' info is supported by the fact that there are 3 territories and the MUE of 61650 is 1 and 61651 is 2, but a more official source is needed.

Any help would be appreciated!

In the current AMA publication CPT 2025 professional edition, the vascular territories of the intracranial arteries are explained in the text preceding CPT 61645. In my book it’s on page 473.
