Does this qualify for 76816 due to the documentation of the UTD? I am not sure if maternal or fetal UTD.

Not my wheelhouse, so asking. I maintain 76816 for this as an US was done in Jan. Clinic using 76815
Reason For Exam
GROWTH

Report
Exam Type: Transabdominal OB Ultrasound

Indication: growth

There is a single living intrauterine pregnancy measuring 34 weeks, 1 day in the vertex position. Calculated gestational age by today's ultrasound is 35 weeks, 1 day. Fetal growth is at the 58th percentile for EGA. Amniotic fluid index is 12 cm. Single deepest pocket measures 3.6 cm. Fetal heart rate is 140 bpm.

Impression: Singleton pregnancy measuring 35 weeks, 1 day. Vertex presentation. Anatomy has been previously documented. Fluid is appropriate for gestational age. Fetal heart rate is 140 bpm.

I think 76815 would be the more correct. They are doing it for growth, but no re-evaluating any fetal growth parameters, just amniotic fluid, position and heart rate.
