Our doctor is planning to do Yag laser epitheliolysis, i can't find a CPT code. Help please.

Thanks for the reply, i was thinking of the same code. my only problem is that it says Discission of Secondary Membranous Cataract, by LAser

The doctor wants to use YAG LASER to destroy epithelial down growth. No secondary membrous cataract / PCO.

The 66821 is for the posterior cap opacification after cataract sx.

What your doctor wants to do is probably unlisted code. And if this is after a surgical procedure, it is probably not payable.
