During a procedure for transluminal balloon angioplasty (TBA) on an artery, the provider treats one or more additional arteries. The procedure includes all imaging guidance and diagnostic imaging necessary to carry out the angioplasty and all radiological supervision and interpretation (RS&I); do not report this code for this procedure on lower extremity, intracranial, coronary, or pulmonary arteries or the dialysis circuit.
