Answer: A fall coded at J4a (past 30 days) or J4b (past 31 to 180 days) is a covariate for the measure looking at residents whose ability to move in and around their room got worse. The covariate = 1 if either J4a or J4b is checked and "0" if neither J4a nor J4b is checked.
