How CMS Final Rule Impacts Split/Shared Visits

Video

In the CMS Final Rule, released in November 2021, the criteria for split/shared services changed dramatically. This caused confusion as the criteria are not completely clear and will change for 2023. Unfortunately, by the time we get the new rule down, we’ll have to start over again.   Are doctors going to spend more time performing (and documenting) split visits with NP/PA teams, or let NPs/PAs bill more visits at 85% of the physician fee schedule? Watch the on demand webinar as Lori Cox, MBA, CPC, CPMA, CPC-I, CEMC, CGSC, CHONC, breaks down:

  • The complexities of the CMS Final Rule updates

  • What MACs and payers have to say

  • Best practices to ensure documentation is compliant

  • And more!

This webinar will be helpful for healthcare leaders, including Practice Managers, Compliance Officers, Auditors, Coders, CFOs, CMOs, and CEOs.
