Wiki Will lab instrument have to be revalidated if changing ownership but not location? Would the current Z code for instrument inspectio be transferrable?

Trying to get clarification on if an instrument is sold is the Z code transferrable? The instrument will not be changing locations but the ownership of the instrument will be. Will the z code have to be revalidated for a new Z code?
