Hello,
We have HCPCs codes that are covered by Medicaid and not Medicare. We have to submit the claim to Medicare first in order for Medicaid to pay. The problem we have is that Medicare is rejecting them and not denying the claim. Medicaid will not process without the denial.
What modifier would I append to the claim in order to get Medicare to process it for the secondary? Any help is appreciated!! Thank you
