Would it be appropriate to use 99223-Init Hosp-HI CPLX, 59160- D&C After Delivery & 59899- Maternity Care Procedure on one claim? I am thinking CPT 59899 is not needed?
 
What would you be using the 59899 code for? That is an unlisted code. You say maternity care procedure. What kind of maternity care procedure are you referring to? I ask, because you may be allowed to use it, but it depends on what they did exactly.
