I have a question if this visit would be post op or an ER visit.

Pt. had RTC repair SX on 2/12, w/ Doc "A". Then they presented to the ER on 2/14 because of pain/risk of fall. PA "A" who works w/ Doc. "A" saw them. (they both are at the same clinic, so we can bill for both. Thank you.

Pa "A" in the ER was a consult, right? Otherwise the patient went to the ER for pain and was seen by the ER doc. It would be an ER visit.
A post op follow up would be in the office/clinic.
Was patient directed to come to ER by Pa "A" and NOT seen by an ER doc, If so then it would fall under a follow up.

Yes, PA "A" was a consult. and the pt also came on their own.
