When looking up code 27096, it list that image guidance is included (fluoroscopy or CT).........My question is what does the CT stand for? Contrast? Simple question that has me stumped

Computerized Tomography.When looking up code 27096, it list that image guidance is included (fluoroscopy or CT).........My question is what does the CT stand for? Contrast? Simple question that has me stumped
You should buy a book or laminated guide to medical abbreviations. You'll find it helpful.
You could always Google CT as well.

That was my guess, but a coworker is saying she's always been taught it meant contrast. I didn't think that was correct but I wanted 2nd opinions before I approached her.

CT like CT scan for guidance. Computerized Tomography used as guidance.
