Wiki vulvar biopsy-Please help!

Please help! Dr. uses the DX 624.8, skin tag vulva and procedure code 56605,
Vulvar biopsy, but then writes no path sent. Can we charge for the biopsy?

Hi,
if the doctor write that there was no path sent, it means that he didn't order nor sent the skin tag to the path lab. You should confirm witht he doctor's office if they actually did or didn't sent the specimen before charging the patient or the account...
