I had a quick question. The doctors i work for do these injections alot. I was wondering if anyone had a link or anything to show me what diagnosis was appropriate for these injections. I really just want to make sure that the patient has to be diagnosed with DJD or OA in order to get it. They can't be diagnosed with anything else, correct????

Check your Medicare guidelines and processor; mine is NGS and specifically says only covered dx is OA of knee. Also, individual payers may have other guidelines. You'll have to check their sites for drug coverage.
