Wiki Vaginal Delivery of LIVE 17 Week Fetus

Looking for documentation regarding vaginal delivery of 17 week fetus born alive. Is this code-able as a vag delivery? Everything I am finding on research is for fetal demise prior to delivery which does not apply here. Cannot find anything helpful specifically on ACOG because I'm not a member.

Any links or references with answers would be greatly appreciated!

are you looking for CPT or I-10? ICD-10 would be O60.12X for preterm labor with pre-term delivery where labor and delivery was second trimester X = gestation where 0 is only gestation and 1-9 is if multiple fetus involved in the pregnancy

Thanks for your response. I am not looking for ICD codes. I want to know if it's billable as a vaginal delivery (i.e. CPT 59409)

20-22 weeks is the cut off for being able to bill a delivery.
