Insurance does not reimburse anywhere near what we pay for vaccines. Do we have to bill insurance or can we charge the patient and give them the information to submit if they request it?
It would depend on your provider contract for each insurance company whether you can buy bill or not. MOST of the time if buy bill is allowed it is only for certain types of pharmacy meds.
