Hey there!

For patients under 18 receiving Gardasil can i charge to their insurance or to them as long as they are not part of the VCF program? Are there any other restrictions regarding this other than the VCF program?

thank you so much!

If the Gardasil vaccine was provided by the state to be given to VFC-eligible patients, you can NOT bill commercial insurance or the patient for the vaccine. You can only bill Medicaid, Commercial insurance or the patient for the administration. If the facility purchased the Gardasil vaccine, then yes, you can bill commercial insurance.
