Is anyone getting rejections on Vabysmo unlisted Jcode3490. Medicare is sending denial saying that I can only bill 1 unit but I filed bilateral because we treated both eyes. All of the Vabysmo claims are being denied is anyone else having this problem or can offer any advice?

Have you tired splitting the charges and using LT and RT modifiers on the drug? When we do bilateral we split the drugs and use the modifier and do not have any problems billing that way. We also only us a 50 modifier on the administration. Hope this helps. :)
 
I don't think that J3490 is appropriate to use for Vabysmo at this time since J2777 was established 10/01/2022, which is after the OP posted their question on 05/11/2022.
