Hello,
Could someone please explain when it's appropriate to use V54.89 and when it's appropriate to use V58.78? I'm not clear in the difference between the codes. Thanks

V58.78 is for after care following the surgery of musculoskeletal system which is classifiable to 710-739 series.
Ex: after care of musculoskeletal surgeries like joint procedures, hammertoe correction, exostosis, correction of stress fracture etc.
V58.89 is for unspecified procedural aftercare except for specified body systems.
