Wiki using 45378 & 45910 together

When billing cpt code 45378 with 45910 would I use modifer 59 or 51?

From EncoderPro:

"This separate procedure by definition is usually a component of a more complex service and is not identified separately. When performed alone or with other unrelated procedures it may be reported. If performed alone, list the code; if performed with other procedures/services, list the code and append modifier 59."

In this case though, no, you can't. 45910 is considered a part of 45378 and as such you would use 45386 instead.

45910 is bundled into 45378 with a modifier indicator of zero. Not separately reportable per NCCI edits.
