Can anyone share with me your protocol on getting unlisted procedures paid. As of 2011 I am having increasing difficulty getting any unlisted paid

Do you list a comparison code? They should also be pre approved if they are scheduled sx and if not the physician may need to do a follow up letter as to why they did what they did. Although, any Medical Assistance program/insurance does not pay for unlisted codes.
