Wiki unlisted procedures - I work for an ASC

We bill for unlisted procedures in our ASC. We use the 28899 and 29999 codes. When I do I write on the claim what the procedure is (eg. 28899 plantar plate repair). I then send the operative report and note on the operative report where the doctor is describing the procedure. I keep a log so I can keep track of they payments, who the insurance is and how much. We almost always get paid. Also if we use implants those are paid for too. It is important to have good documentation! Appeal if it is not paid.

With that being said, is anyone have a better code for an Endo cubital tunnel release, other than 29999? The Doc's perform a number of them here, I would hope that it would be it's own code soon., like the carpal tunnel has it's own. :)
