Need help with this , is this cpt code 19083?
PROCEDURES PERFORMED:
1. Ultrasound guided localization of lesion
2. R breast lumpectomy
Attention to the left breast. Ultrasound guidance was used to localize the lesion. The lesion was marked. An incision was made in the lower outer quadrant of the breast over the anticipated US localized lesion. The specimen was dissected circumferentially around the lesion. The lumpectomy specimen was marked using short stitch superior, long stitch lateral. It was then submitted for specimen radiograph, which confirmed the clip and area of interest within the specimen, which I viewed in the radiology department.
Within the lumpectomy cavity, hemostasis was achieved with cautery. The wound was irrigated until clear. There was no evidence of bleeding. It was closed in multiple layers with deep dermal and subcutaneous interrupted Vicryl sutures and a running 4-0 vicryl subcuticular skin closure.
Should this be 19120 with 19083?
Thank you in advance for your assistance and time with this matter.
