I'm stumped on this one:

Procedure: Right middle finger DIP joint ulnar collateral ligament reefing with skin excision and dermodesis including DIP joint transarticular pinning.

DX: Right middle finger DIP joint radial deviation status post complex syndactly release and reconstruction

Elliptical incision made on the ulnar aspect of the digit, excising redundant skin at the level of the DIP joint. The full-thickness skin was excised preserving the underlying tissue including the collateral ligament complex. 4-0 Vicryl sutures were placed in horizontal mattress fashion through the distal phalanx across the growth plate and the DIP joint into the middle phalanx without extending into the growth plate at the base of middle phalanx. This pin was bent outside skin, cut and covered with pin cap.

The skin was then closed in horizontal mattress fashion with 4-0 Monocryl in interrupted fashion. ....
