We just recently started getting denials on some of our labs, primarily COVID testing, and some flu and strep from United Healthcare. Does anyone know if something has changed? I've spoken to several United Healthcare reps and all I get is the address they have for our clia number is incorrect, or they advise me to print the claim and send it as a corrected claim with the same clia number. They do end up paying when I send a corrected claim via paper, but it is all the same information that was sent on the original claim. I would like to know if anyone else is having any issues with these in house labs and how are you handling this. cpt's 87635, 87880 & 87804. Thank you.
