Appreciate some assistance on procedure coding for a True-cut Biopsy of a right breast mass, obtaining 4 specimen.
LIP Procedure note:
" I explained to the patient the need for additional tissue, and with the consent of the patient, using 1cc 1% Lidocaine w/o epinephrine, under sterile conditions, I performed a true-cut biopsy of the right breast mass. I obtained four specimens, which I place in Formalin. I stitched the needle tract with 3.0 Vicryl."
