Besides the 27447 for the total knee replacement, are there any other codes that can be used to encompass the work for the physician's part. Any codes that can be billed for the supply? This is a hospital outpatient facility.

Total knee arthroplasty done in an outpatient facility? This is typically an in patient procedure. The facility charges for the implant, not the physician. The physician can bill for the 27447 and any intraoperative/post-op x-rays he reads with a modifer -26 on them.
