My pain doctor performed a Trigger Point injection with only Lidocaine.
J2001 is for IV Infusion, so I know I cannot bill this code. I have found a couple articles that the Lidocaine is inclusive to the E/M or in this case, the procedure code. This is was performed in the office.
Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.
