Wiki Tricare RFA denial due to spinal fusion

Hello all!

Question, has anyone been able to get around Tricare denying auth for RFA because a patient had a spinal fusion? If so, how were you able to appeal for auth to get approved. any help would be appreciated!

we are a pain clinic and most of our Pt's have had fusions, I don't directly do the authorizations but I'll try to ask the gal that does to see what she may know.
