Wiki Transplant "V" code documentation

Pt had a bone marrow transplant for a dx of AML 3/2013, admitted to inpt 2/2014 due to renal failure, electrolyte imbalance, C Diff, URI, steroid myalagias...
Can/Would I append the V42.81 dx to show this pt had a BMT and is immune compromised? Physician did not state "complication of transplant".
How far out from the transplant would you stop including the "V" transplant code to the dx's?

Yes, you can add the hx bone marrow transplant code additionally, since there is no documentation of complication or anything.
