MD says open amputation through the middle phalanx of the right fourth toe.
Op note reads--
The toe was amputated through the distal portion of the middle phalanx. The bone was osteolized through the middle portion of the middle phalanx.
Since this was not an amputation through the IP joint 28825 will not work and 28160 states hemiphalangectomy, etc proximal end of phalanx so this will not work either.
Suggestions please.......
