Is there a code for a toenail injury? All I can find is superficial injury of toe, however, the patient's toe was not injured. It is simply nail trauma due to the toe being stepped on. It is not a contusion and there is no laceration.

Toe nail and nail bed are part of the toe. If the most specific body location is toe then code to the toe.
