Wiki To bill or not to bill...

Our OB/GYN office is the designated on call providers for our local hospital, recently a patient was admitted to the ER and the on call ER MD called our GYN to have him review the med recs and u/s and advice on how to treat pt, is there anything we can bill for this?

You might be able to bill a consult. Did your doc dictate a note?

Yes, he dictated a virtual chart that has been enterd into the patient's medical records.
