Does anyone know the proper way to bill the following proceudre out when done bilaterally:
30520 septo
31276 frontal
31255 ethmoid
31267 maxillary
31288 sphenoid
30802 turb trimming
30930 out fr

and if the dr does the later of the two procedures and one is on one side and the other on the other side, can they both be billed? We are having a terrible time with the doctor using these two codes.

30520 Septo code is not a bilateral procedure. There is only one septum/ Can't be done bilaterally.

31276, 31255, 31267, 31288 all bill w/ 50 modifier to show bilateral

30802 and 30930 are codes for bilateral OR unilateral.

they are bundled. You could try to bill out with a 59 modifier and RT & LT mods to show different sides of the nose.

Not sure if it will get paid.
