Does anyone know if I can bill this & if I can, how I should?
Patient had Lexiscan Cardiolite Stress with Mycardial Perfusion Imaging in September, they could not get in touch with the patient to complete the rest portion. The physician dicated this in his report, so I billed the single test 78451. The patient returned in late November or early December & completed the rest portion, & the physician dictated it as an addendum to the stress portion done in September. If I can bill the rest portion, do I bill as a seperate single test 78451, or correct the original charge to 78452?
