POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:
Aseptic loosening femoral component, right hip arthroplasty.
OPERATION PERFORMED:
1. Revision of femoral component, right hip arthroplasty.
2. Removal of acetabular polyethylene and replacement with a 10
degrees lipped liner.
3. Debridement of heterotopic ossification.
Would I code this as 27134 with a 52 modifier as only the polysthylene of the acetabular component was revised OR 27138 with 22 modifer. Would really like to hear others opinions - Thank you!
