Hopefully someone can answer this question. Patient comes in to office has laceration we give them a tetanus shot, bill Medicare its paid no issue. Patient then, a month later presents to their pharmacy and request a Tdap (per the CDC recommendation). Will this also be covered? Tetanus can be billed as a Part B benefit but Tdap is a Part D benefit.
