The patient had a carpal tunnel release and ulnar never decompression and transmusclular transposition and she was dressed with a splint after surgery. On her post op visit the dr placed her in a temporary splint for the elbow until a custom splint is made. Can i code/bill for the temporary splint during the post op visit. If so what would i code it to?
