Can anyone confirm if there will be a reduction in payments for real-time audio-visual telehealth office visits in 2024? I was going through the Medicare final Rule and could not grasp if the RVU will be deducted. Please advise!
Hi there, if the patient isn't at home when they receive the telehealth service the practice will report place of service 02 and receive the facility rate. If the patient is at home the practice will report POS 10 and receive the non-facility rate.

But are the rates different than an in office visit? For example, if in office we were reimbursed $100.00, would it be $80 for a telehealth POS 10 (so still professional fees) at 20% less?
